Energy psychology, particularly tapping through AQGM (Acutapping QiGong Massage) or EFT (Emotional Freedom Tapping) has been used for thousands of years in various countries in the world.
Recently a brand new 2025 meta-analysis just published in the prestigious EUROPEAN ARCHIVES OF PSYCHIATRY AND CLINICAL NEUROSCIENCE revealed how well “tapping” works for PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) symptoms.
This meta-analysis follows PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta- Analysis) guidelines. These guidelines are a set of recommendations for reporting systematic reviews and meta-analysis.
The comprehensive analysis of 13 studies with 621 patients shows that “tapping” dramatically outperformed every intervention it was compared against for treating PTSD. It reduced comorbid symptoms, including anxiety and depression. Its therapeutic effect could be applied in veteran populations and sustained for up to three months.
If “tapping” works this well for severe trauma, imagine what it could do for everyday stress, anxiety and limiting beliefs that cause impatience, worrying, frustration, aggressive behavior, lack of confidence, complaining, difficulty focusing, etc.
SO LET’S GET TO TAPPING USING AQGM (Acutapping QiGong Massage) TECHNIQUES
